MINSK, October 4 – Novosti. Belarusian Defense Minister Viktor Khrenin said : there is concrete evidence that NATO countries are preparing their infrastructure and troops for war, Minsk cannot ignore the militarization of its western neighbors and is developing response measures.
“The situation today is really difficult. A number of hostile leaders have already been opened, unfortunately, neighboring countries have outlined their goals that they want to achieve by working against our country. We cannot just ignore this. All the threats that may arise , we will respond quickly, accurately, adequately to the situation that will arise. For this we have both the strength and the means,” Sputnik.Belarus quoted the minister as saying.
Khrenin said that, hiding behind an imaginary threat from the East, the NATO countries and the Western states neighboring Belarus are not just militarizing, but preparing for war. “They are preparing their infrastructure, preparing their troops. We have specific data. We are constantly monitoring the situation, we see what they are doing. Based on this, we are developing specific and adequate response measures,” he added.
