OMSK, October 4 – Novosti. Authorities in the Omsk region are looking to provide additional support to those drafted into the Russian Armed Forces as part of the partial mobilization that will end in the region this week, Governor Alexander Burkov said on Tuesday.
The head of the region explained that during the partial mobilization, the inhabitants of the region had questions about the organization of the draft, the quality of supply, heating and other living conditions, most of the urgent tasks were solved. However, there are those that will take more time to resolve, Burkov said.
“We see that some regions, for example, the Kemerovo Region , give 200 thousand rubles for support. The Krasnoyarsk Territory – 100 thousand. The same Novosibirsk Region , Omsk and Altai Territories did not make such a decision, taking into account certain problems with the budget. In our Omsk Region the budget deficit is more than 13 billion rubles,” the governor said.
Alexander Burkov also noted that a decision was made in the region to pay additional wages to those Omsk residents who received summons and arrived at temporary mobile points, regardless of whether these people worked at a state enterprise or in a private organization.
“I understand the cry from the heart of the guys who are called up today and who are going to fulfill their military duty. Of course, we will look for some kind of solution mechanism. Yes, it is clear that the level of budgetary security in Moscow allows you to pay a fighter 50 thousand rubles a month. “You see, other regions do not have such an opportunity. And there is a certain difficulty in this, but nevertheless, we will not leave this issue alone and will keep it under control, we will look for ways to solve it,” the head of the region emphasized.
Burkov added that now the called-up reservists are provided with everything necessary, and the difficulties that arise during the preparatory activities can be quickly resolved. In the Omsk region, partial mobilization will end this week, the head of the region specified.
