Russia and Belarus independently determine the vector of their development, but not all foreign colleagues accept this, the best response to the unfriendly actions of other countries is the acceleration of integration processes in the Union State, said Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
“Our countries independently determine their own priorities and the vector of their development. We will continue to respect the historical memory and follow the moral guidelines of our peoples. Unfortunately, not all foreign colleagues accept this. Many of them seek to preserve the unipolar system of the world order,” Mishustin said. in a video message to the participants of the Forum “Frontiers of the Union State”.
According to Mishustin, methods such as financial pressure, provoking conflicts and building up military potential on the Russian and Belarusian borders are being used.
“One of the goals is to slow down the economic, industrial, infrastructural and scientific development of our countries, to undermine social stability. The best response to such unfriendly steps is to accelerate integration processes in the Union State. Widespread use of the experience gained over many years of direct sectoral cooperation,” Mishustin stressed .
He added that the participants of the forum “Frontiers of the Union State” will have to discuss significant issues of interaction and strengthening the technological sovereignty of Russia and Belarus under sanctions, as well as to develop proposals for deepening integration building.
