The plan to help the new territories that have become part of the Russian Federation will be comprehensive, including medical care, sports and education, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with laureates and finalists of the all-Russian competition “Teacher of the Year”.
“What you said about, namely the plan of assistance to Donbass , in this case, and Zaporozhye , this applies, and Kherson , of course, will be separate. I already said this in my introductory speech, it should be comprehensive, it should not be combined only with the development of infrastructure, which is obvious in itself, but this also applies to sports infrastructure, of course, and medical care. In my opening speech, I also just spoke about plans for medical examination of children, but this also applies to the content of the educational process itself,” Putin said.
Referendums on the entry of the DPR , LPR , Kherson and Zaporozhye regions into the Russian Federation were held on September 23-27. According to the results of processing 100% of the ballots in the DPR, 99.23% of those who voted for joining the Russian Federation, in the LPR – 98.42%, in the Kherson region – 87.05%, in the Zaporozhye region – 93.11%. On September 30, Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke in the Kremlin following the results of referendums in the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, after which he signed agreements with their heads on the admission of regions into Russia.
