DONETSK, October 6 – Novosti. For the second day in a row, Ukrainian troops have shelled the Michurin penal colony in the Donetsk People’s Republic, the DPR Ministry of Justice said on Thursday.
“The Michurinsky correctional colony of the State Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice of the DPR under fire from the VFU (armed formations of Ukraine ) for the second day in a row. Today, October 6, 2022, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:20 a.m. (coincides with Moscow time – ed.) shelling by the armed formations of Ukraine,” the ministry said in a statement on its Telegram channel.
The ministry added that as a result of another shelling by the armed formations of Ukraine, there were no victims, the degree of destruction of buildings and structures of the correctional institution is being established.
On Wednesday, Ukrainian troops fired 10 unguided rockets at a penal colony in Gorlovka , Donetsk, damaging a dormitory, an office building, and a fence around the colony.
