WASHINGTON, Oct 6 – Novosti. The driver of U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris crashed into a curb while driving her to work on Monday, forcing a tire change, according to the Washington Post.
“The Secret Service agent driving the SUV with Harris crashed into the curb of a tunnel in downtown Washington with such force that the car’s tire had to be replaced,” the newspaper said, citing people familiar with the situation.
The vice president had to be transferred to another vehicle, and the secret service now has questions about hiding errors, since they initially announced a technical malfunction of the car.
Harris was not injured in the incident, the newspaper reports.
