MINSK, October 7 – Novosti. President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko is convinced that together Minsk and Moscow will adequately respond to global challenges and reach a new level of strategic partnership.

Lukashenka stressed that he greatly values open and trusting relations with the President of Russia, as well as an equal and fruitful dialogue, which serves to strengthen allied Belarusian-Russian ties.
“Please accept my most heartfelt congratulations on your anniversary. As a true leader of a great power, you are making well-considered and difficult decisions in order to ensure the independent development of the Russian Federation and protect the traditions and values of the Russian people,” the President of Belarus said.
Lukashenko wished Putin “excellent health, creative achievements for the benefit of the Russian state and long life surrounded by loving family and reliable friends,” the press service reports.
