MOSCOW, October 7 – Novosti. Rosselkhoznadzor resumes the supply of fruits and vegetables from three enterprises in the Orhei district of Moldova, if phytosanitary safety is confirmed, an expansion of the list of suppliers may be considered, Novosti was told in the press service of the department.
“From October 7, the Rosselkhoznadzor allows the supply of fruit and vegetable products to three enterprises of the Republic of Moldova,” the report says.
It is specified that deliveries are allowed from Gt Petru Maler, Srl Laur Matei and Srl Rusmiliud.
“As a result of the work carried out, the Rosselkhoznadzor selected three enterprises located in the Orhei district, with the supply of products from which quarantine objects were not previously detected,” the message added.
It is noted that imports from three Moldovan enterprises will be carried out under enhanced laboratory control. “If the phytosanitary safety of products imported from the Orhei district is confirmed, in the future the Rosselkhoznadzor will consider the possibility of expanding the list of agricultural enterprises,” the statement explains.
Restrictions on the import of regulated products from Moldova were introduced on August 15, 2022. It is noted that the reason then was the systematic detection of quarantine objects for the EAEU member countries in vegetables and fruits coming from 34 regions of the republic.
