ASTANA, October 7 – Novosti. The Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, will pay a state visit to Astana on October 11-12, the press service of the head of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, said on Friday.
The President of Kazakhstan on August 31 in Astana received the Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, during the meeting the interlocutors discussed the prospects for the development of bilateral relations. The head of the Foreign Ministry conveyed to Tokayev the greetings of the Emir of Qatar and confirmed his arrival in Kazakhstan in the near future.
“On October 11-12, the state visit to Kazakhstan of the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, will take place,” the Kazakh leader’s press service said.
