LUGANSK, October 9 – Novosti. Ukrainian troops launched a strike at night using HIMARS MLRS at a temporary accommodation facility for citizens of the LPR Ministry of Emergency Situations, the LPR representative office at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Issues Related to War Crimes of Ukraine (JCCC) reports .
“At 1.35 a.m., the VFU hit the village of Starobelsk with the use of HIMARS MLRS (1 rocket). As a result of the shelling, a temporary accommodation center for citizens of the LNR Ministry of Emergency Situations on the outskirts of the city was damaged,” the Telegram channel said in a message .
Later, Rodion Miroshnik , head of the LPR representative office in Russia , said that Ukrainian troops used a projectile with shrapnel to attack Starobilsk .
“The HIMARS rocket with shrapnel was struck at the gathering place for refugees from the Kharkiv region … Refugees and evacuees from Izyum , Kupyansk and other settlements arrive there,” he wrote on his Telegram channel.
