YEREVAN, Oct 9 – Novosti. An explosion thundered in Yerevan, there are victims, the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations reported .
“On October 9, at 09:15, the dispatcher on duty at the National Center for Crisis Management received information that an explosion had occurred on Bagratunyats Avenue in Yerevan, a fire broke out,” the release says.
Later, the department clarified that this happened in a hostel at the address: Bagratunyats, 2/8. The explosion injured two people, they were taken to the burn center.
Firefighters are on site.
According to Sputnik Armenia , the ceilings of two rooms, the ceiling and wall of the corridor, doors and windows were damaged in the hostel.
