
YAKUTSK, October 9 – Novosti. A Yakutian called up as part of partial mobilization crashed to death, falling out of a window at a collection point, investigators began a procedural check, a law enforcement source told Novosti.
Users of the social network spread information that a resident of Yakutia, who, along with other mobilized people, was waiting to be sent to a military unit, died at one of the gathering points of conscripts at night. Allegedly, the man tried to get down from the second floor of the building with the help of a rope made of bedspreads.
“Yes, there was an accident at night – a man at the assembly point fell to his death, falling out of the window. Details are being established. A procedural check has begun,” the source said.
The investigating authorities of the republic Novosti confirmed the accuracy of the information.
Partial mobilization has been going on in Russia since September 21, according to a presidential decree. According to Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu , it is needed to control the front line of 1,000 kilometers and the liberated territories in Ukraine .
