SIMFEROPOL, October 9 – Novosti. The Ukrainian authorities have concentrated a large number of mercenaries on the front line in the Zaporozhye region, Vladimir Rogov, chairman of the movement “We are with Russia”, a member of the main council of the regional administration, told Novosti.
“The Kyiv regime has amassed an unthinkable number of mercenaries on the line of contact. Representatives from more than 30 different countries are known,” he said.
During the military special operation, the Russian army liberated about 75 percent of the Zaporozhye region. Under the control of Kiev remains the regional center – the city of Zaporozhye .
From September 23 to 27, a referendum was held in the region, in which 93.11 percent of those who voted were in favor of joining Russia. On September 30, President Vladimir Putin and the heads of the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, the Donetsk and Lugansk people’s republics signed agreements on the admission of new territories into the country. The State Duma and the Federation Council ratified these documents, and on October 5 the updated Constitution of Russia came into force.
