
MOSCOW, October 9 – Novosti. The ferry at the crossing between Crimea and the Krasnodar Territory has already completed three flights, according to the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Transport.
“The ferry “Kerchinsky-2″ with trucks on board left Crimea at 01:52. It delivered 16 trucks and 25 passengers to the port of Kavkaz. In the port of Kavkaz, 13 cars and 14 passengers were loaded onto the ferry, which at 05:05 delivered to the port of Crimea. At 05:50, the ferry went on its third voyage, it took ten cars and 39 passengers on board,” the ministry said.
On the eve of the morning on the Crimean bridge, an explosion thundered. According to the National Anti-Terrorist Committee, a truck exploded there, after which seven tanks with fuel from the train following along the railway part of the crossing caught fire. As a result, two car spans partially collapsed, but the supports of the arch for the passage of ships were not damaged.
By about 16:00, traffic on the bridge resumed in reverse mode, but only for passenger cars. Trucks and buses must use the Kerch Ferry, which operates free of charge. In the evening, railway traffic was also restored: first, test freight trains passed over the bridge, then the Simferopol-Moscow passenger train.
The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case. Investigators determined that a resident of the Krasnodar Territory owns the truck that exploded . According to preliminary data, three people were killed in the explosion – passengers of a passenger car that was driving next to a truck.
