
MOSCOW, November 7 – Novosti. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Alexander Garden on the Day of Military Glory.
On November 7, the Day of Russian Military Glory , Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin took part in a wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Alexander Garden, dedicated to the 81st anniversary of the parade on Red Square. In addition, the mayor honored the memory of the fallen soldiers with a minute of silence.
Volunteers from the Moscow headquarters of the #WeTogether action also took part in the laying of flowers.
Day of military glory of Russia is celebrated on November 7. On this day in 1941, a military parade was held on Red Square in Moscow to commemorate the 24th anniversary of the Great October Socialist Revolution.
