
EKATERINBURG, December 6 – Novosti. Rescuers found the body of another person who died while clearing the rubble of a residential building that collapsed due to a gas explosion in Nizhnevartovsk, so the number of victims increased to seven, Novosti was told at the GUMCHS in Yugra.
“At 5.54 (3.54 Moscow time) a message was received, preliminary, they found the body of a person. Representatives of the investigation went to the place to carry out investigative actions. After that, the analysis of the rubble will continue,” the source said.

An explosion occurred in a five-story building on Mira Street in Nizhnevartovsk on December 4.

According to the latest data from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, six people died, four were hospitalized.

Five of the six dead have not yet been identified.

The cause of the explosion was the depressurization of the cylinder. This was announced by the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Alexander Kurenkov.
