
WASHINGTON, December 7 – Novosti. The draft US defense budget, agreed upon by the relevant committees of both houses of Congress, provides for the allocation of more than $6 billion to contain Russia in Europe, according to a document released on Tuesday evening.
“As the rules-based international order faces challenges from Beijing and Moscow faces challenges from Beijing and Moscow that threaten the security, freedom and prosperity of people around the world, this year’s budget proposal… includes over $6 billion in funding for the initiative on containment in Europe,” follows from the draft budget for fiscal year 2023.
