
MOSCOW, October 26 – Novosti. The director of blogger Ksenia Sobchak, Kirill Sukhanov, said he was ready to plead guilty to receiving 800,000 rubles and to publicly apologize to the head of Rostec, Sergei Chemezov, a Novosti correspondent reports from the audience.
“I’m ready to plead guilty to receiving 800,000 rubles and to apologize publicly to the victim,” Sukhanov said in Moscow ‘s Tverskoy Court .
Sukhanov was charged under paragraph “b” of part 3 of article 163 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (extortion in order to obtain property on an especially large scale). The sanction of the article provides for a maximum punishment of up to 15 years in prison. The case is being investigated by the Main Directorate of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Moscow.
