MOSCOW, January 27 – Novosti. Ukraine has lost up to 65 servicemen as a result of the offensive of Russian forces in the South-Donetsk and Zaporozhye directions, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Friday.
“The total losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine per day in these directions amounted to 65 military personnel, one tank, two armored combat vehicles, a D-20 howitzer, three vehicles and two AN / TPQ-37 US -made counter-battery radars,” the report says.
It is noted that in the South-Donetsk and Zaporozhye directions, units of the Vostok group of troops continued offensive operations, occupied new advantageous lines, and inflicted fire damage on units of the 72nd mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian military in the area of Ugledar.
In addition, units of the 108th Territorial Defense Brigade were hit in the Prechistovka and Novoselka areas in the DPR .
