Biden said that the United States will not be scared by Putin’s words

WASHINGTON, September 30 – Novosti. US President Joe Biden said that Washington and its allies will not be afraid of the words of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“The United States and allies cannot be intimidated by the reckless threats and words of (Russian President Vladimir) Putin,” Biden told reporters.
He added that the United States will continue to stay the course and “provide military equipment so that Ukraine can defend itself.” Biden recalled that Congress approved the provision of additional resources to Kiev for almost $13 billion. At the same time, Biden said, neither the United States nor the rest of the world recognizes the current entry into Russia of new territories.
On September 30, Russian President Vladimir Putin and the heads of the DPR , LPR , Zaporozhye and Kherson regions signed agreements in Moscow on the accession of these countries and regions to Russia. From 23 to 27 September, referendums were held in the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics, as well as in the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions on the issue of joining Russia. In the DPR, 99.23% of those who voted for it, in the LPR – 98.42%, in the Kherson region – 87.05%, in the Zaporozhye region – 93.11%. Representatives of a number of Western countries, including the EU, declared that they did not recognize the results of the referendums. At the same time, the referendum was monitored by international observers, including those from EU countries, who confirmed the free will of citizens.
