MOSCOW, September 30 – Novosti. Canada has expanded sanctions against the Russian Federation, added 43 more people to it, according to the country’s government website .
The list of new sanctions includes family members of Russian politicians and entrepreneurs. Among others, the family members of the head of the Russian state corporation VEB Igor Shuvalov , the vice-governor of St. Petersburg Vladimir Knyaginin, the former chairman of VEB.RF Vladimir Dmitriev, and the deputy chairman of the board of PJSC Gazprom Famil Sadygov fell under the sanctions.
