
MOSCOW, September 30 – Novosti. The broadcast of a speech by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg on the German TV channel Deutsche Welle * was interrupted by a picture with a speech by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Stoltenberg was speaking to reporters at a briefing when the broadcast was interrupted, and then footage appeared of the Russian leader’s speech at a concert-rally on Red Square on the occasion of the annexation of the four regions. The moment when Putin said: “It was Russia that created modern Ukraine by transferring significant territories there” got on the air. After that, the director interrupted the broadcast by turning on from the studio, where the presenter announced a “strange set of circumstances.” Then the audience was again shown the NATO Secretary General.
At the end of September, a referendum was held in the liberated territories of the LPR , DPR , Kherson and Zaporozhye regions , in which the absolute majority of voters voted in favor of joining Russia. On Friday, September 30, in Moscow, Vladimir Putin and the heads of these regions signed agreements on their accession to Russia.
