
MOSCOW, September 30 – Novosti. The head of the communist faction in the Moscow City Duma and the first secretary of the city committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Nikolai Zubrilin, was detained in the Moscow metro on Friday, when he was driving from a rally, the press service of the Communist Party faction in the Moscow City Duma reported.
“Zubrilin was stopped in the Okhotny Ryad metro station after he was driving from a rally in support of the annexation of Donbass to Russia . They asked what he was doing there. They kept him for forty minutes in the police station in the metro, now they are being taken to the Kitai-gorod police department,” told the press office.
The press service noted that “no charges are brought and nothing is explained.”
A rally-concert dedicated to the annexation of the Donetsk and Lugansk people’s republics , Kherson and Zaporozhye regions to Russia , takes place on Red Square in Moscow.
Earlier, in the Georgievsky Hall of the Kremlin, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed agreements on the admission of all four regions to the Russian Federation and the formation of new subjects within Russia.
Referendums on the issue of joining Russia were held from September 23 to 27 in the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, as well as in the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. According to the results of processing 100% of ballots in the DPR , 99.23% of those who voted for joining Russia, 98.42% in the LPR, 87.05% in the Kherson region , and 93.11% in the Zaporozhye region.
