
GROZNY, September 30 – Novosti. The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov , announced the release from Ukrainian captivity of two officers of the Russian Armed Forces, who spent almost six months in captivity.
Earlier, Kadyrov spoke about the release from captivity of another serviceman, Kirgiz Musakhanov.
“Together with a fighter from the Chechen Republic, Kirghiz, we also managed to rescue two more servicemen, officers of the Russian Armed Forces, from Ukrainian captivity. They were in captivity for a long time, and one of them spent almost 6 months in captivity. Thanks to the prompt actions of the command and negotiators, now our The fighters are free and will soon return to their families, friends and acquaintances,” Kadyrov wrote on his Telegram channel.
He published a video in which these servicemen express their gratitude to Kadyrov for his support and help.
“Even one saved life makes me infinitely happy. For the families of these guys, however, as well as for themselves, today will become a memorable day,” the head of Chechnya added.
Russia has been conducting a military operation in Ukraine since February 24 . Vladimir Putin called its task “the protection of people who have been subjected to bullying and genocide by the Kiev regime for eight years.” According to him, the ultimate goal is the liberation of Donbass and the creation of conditions that guarantee the security of Russia itself.
