ZURICH, September 30 – Novosti. According to the operator of Nord Stream 1, the gas leak on the pipeline will continue until October 2, while there are no similar data on Nord Stream 2 yet, according to a joint statement released by the Permanent Missions of Sweden and Denmark to the UN.
The letter was published by Swedish Foreign Minister Ann Linde on the eve of an urgent meeting of the UN Security Council in connection with sabotage at Nord Stream, which is scheduled for 22.00 Moscow time on Friday. As Linde wrote on Twitter, it’s important that the discussion is based on facts.
“According to the Nord Stream operator , the leaks will continue until October 2. A similar assessment for Nord Stream 2 has not yet been completed,” the Swedish Foreign Minister said in a statement.
