The issue of the administrative organization of the new territories of Russia will be decided in the future, now, according to the signed documents, the Russian Federation will include four subjects, Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, told reporters.
“I don’t know what kind of administrative organization it will be… This is a question of the future,” Peskov said in response to a question whether the new territories would become part of Russia as separate entities.
Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday at a ceremony in the Kremlin signed the Treaties on the admission of the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions , the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics into the Russian Federation and the formation of new subjects in Russia.
