MOSCOW, September 30 – Novosti. The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, after signing the treaty on the republic’s accession to the Russian Federation , expressed gratitude to Russian President Vladimir Putin for the decisions that became the foundation for restoring historical truth and justice.
He called the signing of the document a historic event.
“On behalf of all residents of the Donetsk People’s Republic, I express my deep gratitude to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin for every step, for every decision that became the foundation for restoring historical truth and justice,” Pushilin wrote in his Telegram channel.
The head of the DPR also congratulated his countrymen.
“We are at home! Donbass returned to Russia, Russia has grown with millions of its patriots,” Pushilin said.
Russian President Vladimir Putin and the heads of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Lugansk People’s Republic , Zaporozhye and Kherson regions signed agreements on the regions’ annexation to Russia on Friday. The ceremony took place in the Georgievsky Hall of the Kremlin.
