Putin signed a decree on the autumn conscription

MOSCOW, September 30 – Novosti. Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the autumn call for military service, the document was published on the official Internet portal of legal information.
It is specified that this year the draft will begin a month later than usual – from November 1, and end on December 31.
According to the document, it is planned to call up 120 thousand people. Also from October 1, the dismissal of soldiers, sailors, sergeants and foremen, whose term of service has expired, will take place.
In turn, Rear Admiral Vladimir Tsimlyansky, deputy head of the Main Organizational and Mobilization Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, specified that the conscripts for the autumn draft would serve in Russia. According to him, the upcoming events have nothing to do with the conduct of a special military operation in Ukraine . Tsimlyansky also stressed that there is no talk of any mobilizations or appeals of students studying at universities.
