MOSCOW, September 30 – Novosti. The United States of America is accustomed to acting according to a pattern: to take impudently, blackmail and bribery, lie recklessly like Goebbels, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
He noted that the West did not expect that not all countries would support them regarding their position on Russia. According to Putin, most states choose a reasonable way of cooperation with Russia, and the West did not expect such defiance from them.
“They are just used to acting according to a pattern: to take everything impudently, blackmail, bribery, intimidation. And they convince themselves that these methods will work forever, the word is ossified and frozen in the past,” Putin said during his speech at the signing ceremony of agreements on incorporation of new territories into Russia.
He also noted that this is a product of the concept of one’s own exclusivity and “information hunger.”
“The truth was drowned in an ocean of myths, illusions and fakes, using prohibitively aggressive propaganda. They lie recklessly, like Goebbels. The more incredible the lie, the faster they will believe it. This is how they act according to this principle,” Putin said.
