MOSCOW, September 30 – Novosti. The choice of the people in the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions has been made, Russia will not betray them, and the Kyiv authorities should treat them with respect, said Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The head of state speaks in the Kremlin following the results of referendums in the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions . He said that Russia calls on the Kyiv regime to immediately stop all hostilities and return to the negotiating table.
“But we will not discuss the choice of the people in Donetsk , Luhansk , Zaporozhye and Kherson . It has been made. Russia will not betray them,” the president said.
“Today’s Kyiv authorities should treat this free will of the people with respect and nothing else. This is the only way to peace,” he added.
