ROSTOV-ON-DON, September 30 – Novosti. A rally-concert in support of the results of the referenda on the entry of the DPR, LPR, as well as the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions into Russia took place in Rostov-on-Don, a Novosti correspondent reports from the scene.
The event was organized by the regional branch of the All-Russian public movement “Volunteers of Victory”. Representatives of the public and youth, local branches of parties and various organizations gathered for a rally in the Levoberezhny park.
“We want to express support for the people who defended their right to be Russian, said yes to reunification with Russia. And, of course, to say thank you to those guys who, in the ranks of the Russian army or in volunteer formations, defend their country, their families, us “, – said the head of the regional branch of the “Volunteers of Victory” Artem Tolpygin.
According to Tatyana, who came to the rally, everyone has a holiday today. “Today is a historic moment, because we are accepting new and at the same time friendly and close peoples into our big family. We are happy that we are together,” she told Novosti.
Referendums on the question of joining Russia were held from 23 to 27 September in the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics , as well as in the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions . According to the results of processing 100% of the ballots in the DPR , 99.23% of those who voted for joining the Russian Federation, in the LPR – 98.42%, in the Kherson region – 87.05%, in the Zaporozhye region – 93.11%.
