MOSCOW, September 30 – Novosti. Russian fighters heroically defend Donbas during the special operation, the country will do everything to support its new territories and their security, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
“They (the fighters – ed.) are not on parade – they are in battle. They are heroically defending the choice of people that was made a few days ago. I know what I’m talking about. Heroically … We will do everything to ensure security , to increase the level of security in these territories and for these people,” he said at a rally-concert on Red Square in the center of Moscow .
On September 30, Putin signed agreements on the admission of the DPR , LPR , Kherson and Zaporozhye regions to Russia . Referendums on the issue of joining Russia were held in these countries and regions from 23 to 27 September. In the DPR, 99.23% of those who voted for joining the Russian Federation, in the LPR – 98.42%, in the Kherson region – 87.05%, in the Zaporozhye region – 93.11%. On Friday, Putin and the heads of the DPR, LPR, Zaporizhia and Kherson regions signed agreements on the annexation of regions to Russia and the formation of new subjects in its composition.
