Arson of military registration and enlistment offices are regarded as terrorist attacks, they face imprisonment for up to 15 years, said Rear Admiral Vladimir Tsimlyansky, deputy head of the Main Organizational and Mobilization Directorate (GOMU) of the General Staff of the RF Armed Forces.
So, on the eve of the upcoming autumn draft for military service, he commented on the increasing cases of attacks and arson of military registration and enlistment offices, intimidation of conscripts and their parents.

“Explain.rf” clarified the procedure for serving the summons from the military registration and enlistment office
“Unfortunately, such cases are not isolated. Citizens, under the influence of negative emotions, commit illegal actions against both individual employees of military commissariats, as well as military commissariats in general,” Tsimlyansky said.
According to him, the spring conscription has already been held “in the context of extremist actions of individual citizens, including telephone terrorism, arson of military commissariat buildings, intimidation of conscripts and their parents through fake news in the media.”
“Let me remind you that these actions are regarded as acts of terrorism or as public calls to carry out terrorist activities with criminal liability and punishment in the form of imprisonment for up to 15 years,” Tsimlyansky added.
The autumn call, according to the decree published on Friday, starts on November 1.
