Conscripts to participate in a special military operation in Ukraine will not be involved and after demobilization they will be able to go home, said Rear Admiral Vladimir Tsimlyansky, deputy head of the Main Organizational and Mobilization Directorate (GOMU) of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces.
The autumn call, according to the decree published on Friday, starts on November 1.
Tsimlyansky wished the parents of the conscripts not to worry about them “and exactly one year after the call to meet them strong and mature, who have become true defenders of the Fatherland.”
“In conclusion, I would like to reassure conscripts and their parents and remind that citizens called up for military service will not be involved in the special military operation in Ukraine, and all conscripts whose term of service has expired will be dismissed and sent to their places in a timely manner. residence,” Tsimlyansky said.
According to him, “the call should not be feared, but one should prepare for it.” Rear Admiral wished the young men drafted into the RF Armed Forces for the autumn conscription “the speedy formation in the military team and high results in combat training during military service”, and those who dream of serving in the elite form or branch of the RF Armed Forces – “realize their dream.”
According to the decree, from November 1 to December 31, 2022, it is planned to call up 120,000 people for military service. And from October 1, there will be a dismissal from military service of soldiers, sailors, sergeants and foremen whose term of military service has expired.
