MOSCOW, September 30 – Novosti. The government agreed on the rules for granting military-industrial complex workers a deferment from conscription as part of partial mobilization.
It is clarified that managers, specialists and workers involved in the fulfillment of tasks of the state defense order are exempted from conscription.
Russian President Vladimir Putin on September 21 announced a partial mobilization. According to Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu , it is needed to control the 1,000-kilometer line of contact and the liberated territories in Ukraine .
A total of 300,000 reservists will be drafted into the Russian Armed Forces, which is just over a percent of the country’s total mobilization resource. According to Shoigu, there is no talk of any mobilization of students studying in universities and will not go under any circumstances. It will also not affect current recruits.
