
MOSCOW, September 30 – Novosti. The head of the communist faction in the Moscow City Duma and the first secretary of the city committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Nikolai Zubrilin, was released after being detained without drawing up a protocol, Nikita Popov, press secretary of the Communist Party faction in the Moscow City Duma, told Novosti.
Earlier, Zubrilin was detained in the Okhotny Ryad metro station in Moscow on Friday, when he was driving from the rally.
“Five minutes ago, the head of the Communist Party faction in the Moscow City Duma, Nikolai Zubrilin, was released without any consequences – no protocol, no papers, nothing. I spent an hour at the Kitai-Gorod police department, after which they told him that he was free,” Popov said.
A rally-concert dedicated to the annexation of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics , Kherson and Zaporozhye regions to the Russian Federation , takes place on Red Square in Moscow.
Earlier, in the Georgievsky Hall of the Kremlin, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed agreements on the admission of all four regions to the Russian Federation and the formation of new subjects within Russia.
Referendums on the issue of joining Russia were held from 23 to 27 September in the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics, as well as in the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. According to the results of processing 100% of the ballots in the DPR , 99.23% of those who voted for joining the Russian Federation, in the LPR – 98.42%, in the Kherson region – 87.05%, in the Zaporozhye region – 93.11%.
