MOSCOW, September 30 – Novosti. The Ministry of Digital Development of Russia helped the mistakenly mobilized IT specialist Yuri Konkov, who was released on September 29 after the petition of Maksut Shadayev, Viktoria Yemelyanova, deputy general director of the Nalog Service company, told Novosti.
According to her, on September 21, Konkov, an employee of the Nalog Service company, received a call from the military registration and enlistment office with a request to appear as part of a partial mobilization. The next day, according to Emelyanova, Konkov came to the draft board, where he was handed a summons. On the same day, representatives of the company where he works took a letter from the organization and the accreditation of the company to the military registration and enlistment office, which are necessary for obtaining a deferment. However, that day Konkov was left at the military registration and enlistment office. After that, representatives of “Tax Service” sent an appeal to the Russian Ministry of Digital Transformation along with a package of documents.

“On the 28th, a telegram arrived from the Ministry of Digital Investigation to the military registration and enlistment office, but the colleague was not released. … Accordingly, after that, the head of the Ministry of Digital Transformation, Maksut Shadayev, and the head of the Federal Tax Service, Daniil Egorov , took control of the situation. After that, the colleague was released on the 29th at 19.00,” she shared details of the history of Emelyanov.
“We would like to thank the head of the Russian Ministry of Digital Development Maksut Shadayev for his personal participation in the fate of our IT specialist – Deputy Head of the Technological Infrastructure Administration Department of the Volgograd Branch Yury Konkov,” the company noted.
In Russia, a partial mobilization has been announced by presidential decree since September 21. According to the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Sergei Shoigu , 300 thousand people are subject to conscription from the reserve, primarily those with combat experience and the military registration specialty necessary for the troops.
The Ministry of Defense also reported that in order to ensure the operation of certain high-tech industries, as well as the financial system of Russia, a decision was made not to recruit citizens with higher education in the relevant specialties and areas of training as part of the partial mobilization of citizens with higher education. In particular, we are talking about the fact that IT, communications, media and finance specialists will not be involved in partial mobilization. The Ministry of Digital Development supported this decision.
