ZURICH, September 30 – Novosti. On Friday, the Swedish Foreign Ministry summoned the Russian ambassador in connection with the annexation of the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions to Russia, Foreign Minister Ann Linde said .
Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday at a ceremony in the Kremlin signed the Treaties on the admission of the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics to the Russian Federation and the formation of new subjects in Russia.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the Russian Ambassador today to condemn the illegal attempt to annex additional territory of Ukraine . An unacceptable violation of international law. Sweden has consistently supported Ukraine,” Linde wrote on her Twitter.
