WASHINGTON, September 30 – Novosti. Washington on Friday imposed new sanctions on family members of Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and Governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov.
The sanctions list includes two daughters of Shoigu – Ksenia and Yulia, also wife Irina. Restrictions are being introduced against Medvedev’s wife Svetlana Medvedeva and his son Ilya, as well as Mishustin’s wife and two sons. The son of Valentina Matvienko , businessman Sergey Matvienko, as well as the wife and daughter of the Governor of St. Petersburg, Alexander Beglov, fell under the sanctions.
The new sanctions also affected the head of the National Guard Viktor Zolotov and actor Dmitry Pevtsov .
