According to her, the man treated her “like an errand girl” and lost £500 on online gambling. While she was doing housework, doing laundry, cleaning and paying groceries and bills from her allowance, he spent whole days at the computer.
“I begged him to stop, but he did not stop and said that he likes to spend money in the casino,” the source said.
Now the refugee lives in a special crisis center, since Garnett kicked her out of their rented apartment.
Earlier, local tabloids reported that Sophia Karkadym, who arrived from Lviv , destroyed the Garnett family, who sheltered her, during her ten days in the UK . The man broke up with his wife Lorna and went to a Ukrainian woman, leaving his own children. However, after four and a half months of relationship, the couple broke up. According to Garnett, the reason for the gap was the aggressive behavior of a woman who threatened him with a knife during one of the quarrels. The frightened Briton called the police, who arrested Karkadym. She was later released without any charges.
