MOSCOW, December 31 – Novosti. In the center of Moscow, an employee of the MADI (Moscow Administrative Road Inspectorate) was killed, the attacker was detained, Novosti was told in the press service of the inspection.
“On December 31, at 18:20, on Moskvoretskaya Embankment, in the Zaryadye area, a MADI employee was attacked with a knife. An unknown person inflicted more than ten stab wounds. The inspector died from his wounds,” the statement says.
It is noted that the attacker was detained and taken to the police department in the Kitay-gorod district. The reasons for what happened are established.
“The deceased has been working at MADI since 2014. All the necessary assistance will be provided to his family. He left behind a wife and two children,” the press service said.
According to the metropolitan prosecutor’s office, the attacker is 28 years old. The department controls the adoption of procedural decisions, including the initiation of a criminal case under the article “Murder”.
