PARIS, December 31 – Novosti. French President Emmanuel Macron promised that France would “unfailingly” support Ukraine “until victory”, as he said in a New Year’s address to citizens, which was broadcast by BFMTV channel.
“In the coming years, we will always be by your side. We will help you until victory. Together we will build a just and sustainable world. Count on France and Europe,” he said.
Earlier this week, French Defense Minister Sebastian Lecornu visited Kiev , where he held talks with Volodymyr Zelensky and Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov . Lecornu promised that France would continue to provide military support to Ukraine, including the possible supply of additional CAESAR howitzers, as well as the possible supply of Franco-Italian MAMBA air defense systems.
